Progressing cavity pumps are positive displacement, self-priming pumps. The pumping action is created by rotating the single helix metal rotor within the double helix rubber stator.

Industrial pumps:

• Solid shaft with sealed joints eleminates solidification in a hollow shaft and contamination of the pin joint
• 20 models based on the proven pin joint drive design
• Single and two stage models with up to 80 cubic metre per hour capacities.

Wide throat pumps:

• Solid shaft with a large rectangular inlet and auger feed provides a constant flow to the pumping element,
• Suitable for products with viscosities up to 800 000 centipoise
• Handles materials like thick, non-flowing pastes, slurries, raggy type products and fruits

Hygienic pump:

• Ideal for all applications where non-contamination of the pumped product is essential
• Minimal product retention: open joint design ensures optimum cleaning
• Optional cleaning-in-place facility

Close coupled pump:

• Mobile, space saving alternative where the geared motor is mounted directly onto the pump body
• Suitable for all applications where a closed coupled option is required

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

1. Bearing housing - double row angular ball bearings and large deep groove ball bearings take radial and axial loads. The rigid shaft ensures optimal sealing
2. Shaft sealing - packed stuffing box with or without protective shaft sleeves, single or double mechanical seals or specific sealing systems to customer specifications.
3. Pump Body - stainless steel or mild steel coated to specification
4. Rotating assembly - stainless steel, carbon steel or to specification
5. Joints - sealed pin type joints eliminate contamination and extend joint life. Open type joints are optional for hygienic range.
6. Rotors - hard chrome plated carbon steel, hardened tool steel, stainless steel with or without chrome plating.
7. Stators - resilient and abrasion resistant, natural and synthetic elastomers including food grade compounds
